PRIDE
This year, Lansing is participating in the district program Positive Behavior Support (PBS). PBS is a intervention program designed to recognize students' displaying appropriate behavior. It defines and identifies appropriate behaviors across all school settings. This program is research supported and makes a positive impact on Office Discipline referrals (ODR). In most sites a 20 to 60 percent decrease in ODRs is noted.
